Trento's Triumph

For the celebration scheduled on Saturday afternoon and evening outside the Buonconsiglio Castle, artists, dancers, musicians and re-enactment staff in Renaissance costumes will recreate the celebration that took place in 1547 at Cardinal Cristoforo Madruzzo's court to honour Charles V's decisive victory against the Lutherans. For the occasion, at that time there was a spectacular parade of characters representing the figures of the tarot cards (interpreted by the noblemen of Trentino).

On the occasion of this celebration, it is possible to visit the exhibition "Order and extravaganza. The Renaissance of Marcello Fogolino".
