Under the same sky. The Bell of the Fallen and the dialogue between religions
Since the 1970s, the Bell of the Fallen has been an authoritative witness to an unstoppable process of encounter between believers of different religions; not simply as an outline element but as a stimulus to create a new paradigm.
It has accompanied a path of awareness, recognising the historical and ideal difficulties of building together, but increasingly supporting the inescapable need to understand difference as a value.
Recognising the main events that took place in the shadow of the Bell - thanks also to personalities such as Don Silvio Franch, whose twentieth death anniversary falls on this day - can help us to read the challenges that remain pressing today in order to build processes of responsibility, in an attempt to re-establish that harmonic force which is proper to the sound of the Maria Dolens Bell.
