Valentine's Day at the Buonconsiglio Castle

Don't miss the more seductive side of art with a special date in the Venetian Loggia between art, tango and a romantic aperitif on 14 February!
Throughout the day, each couple in love will be admitted to the museum by paying just one ticket.
Here's our double event: at 17.30 and at 19 you're invited to join the first series of events called "Let me introduce you to the artwork" (booking required, seats are limited) in the magnificent Bishops' Hall in Castelvecchio where one of Johann Carl Loth's most beautiful works will be presented: the painting depicting "Mars, Venus and Cupid."
Roberto Pancheri (conservator of the museum) and Francesca Jurman (head of the museum's Educational Services) will converse to tell the public about the story portrayed on the canvas about the clandestine love between Venus, bride of Vulcan, and Mars god of war, in a unique atmosphere where the secrets and emotions hidden behind this masterpiece can be discovered.
Enjoy the Argentine tango with the Progetto Tango dancers of Rovereto, and a tasty aperitif by Infusione, in collaboration with Cantine Mezzacorona.
