Views on the mountain - Towards the 150th anniversary of the S.A.T. Alpine Club
For three consecutive Thursdays, the Fondazione Museo storico del Trentino (Trentino history museum foundation) offers a free guided tour of the exhibition "Sguardi sulla montagna - Verso i 150 anni del Sat" ("Views on the mountain - Towards the 150th anniversary of the S.A.T. Alpine Club (Società Alpinisti Tridentini) in the Gallerie di Piedicastello (Tunnels of Piedicastello) in Trento.
The exhibition tells how the mountains have been perceived in Trentino from the second half of the 19th century to the present day. It offers an immersive experience and makes it possible to enhance the materials also from a scenic point of view, with period photographs, postcards, film material, advertising posters and objects.
It is aimed at the widest possible audience of visitors, with a special focus on students and on citizenship education.
The tour lasts about 45 minutes and takes place at 16.00 and at 17.00.
