This episode is dedicated to the precious collection of illuminated manuscripts and codes kept at the Castello del Buonconsiglio which are testimony - unfortunately only in small part - to the original wealth of the bishop's library.
Under the careful direction of Alessandro Ferrini, Giorgia Sossass illustrates some of the oldest and rarest examples of the manuscripts kept at the Castle, some of which were already on display at the time of the annexation of Trentino to the Kingdom of Italy, under pressure of Giuseppe Gerola. They are in fact evidence of the recovery of a fundamental piece of the history of Italy.
