On Sunday 6 October, the Sunday at the Museum initiative is back. It offers free admission to Trentino's provincial museums every first Sunday of the month from October to March.
This is an opportunity to get to know Trentino's oldest history at the Museo Retico in Sanzeno (Rhaetic Museum ), which will be open from 14 to 18, the Museo delle Palafitte di Fiavé (Pile-Dwelling Museum ) open from 10 to 18, and the Parco Archeo Natura (Archaeological Park "Archeo Natura" of Fiavé ) open from 10 to 17.
To learn about the oldest face of Trento, in addition to free admission - from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 14.00 to 17.30 - the TRIDENTVM S.A.S.S. Spazio Archeologico Sotterraneo del Sas (Sas Underground Archaeological Space ) in Piazza Battisti, and the Villa romana di Orfeo (Roman Villa of Orpheus), in via Rosmini, propose “A Journey to Discover Tridentum” - at 10.00 and at 15.00: two guided tours of the main sites of the city founded by the Romans two thousand years ago.
The S.A.S.S. is also hosting the exhibition “From the Earth the Future. Journey through 150 years of the Edmund Mach Foundation” (until 27 October) which gives visual form to the institution's long history through publications, historical artifacts and photographs.
To join the "Journey to Discover Tridentum”, the meeting place is the S.A.S.S. Underground Archaeological Space, in Piazza Battisti.
