Centrale di Fies - A chance to be elsewhere

Meetings and conferences , Workshop

May, June, July: the transformation of a memorable festival into a research centre for contemporary performance practices that opens up to the rhythm of its work and a collective breath.

In this way, workers in the performing arts will find a year-round refuge, continue their study and research while waiting for the reopening to the public. In fact, art is not only fulfilled when it is performed, but is a long, delicate and daily process.

That's why the Drodesera summer festival gives way to an exploded programme (all year 2021 long), which is closely linked to the daily work of the Centrale Fies, which is now a true Research Centre for contemporary performing arts.

The public of the Centrale Fies will have the opportunity to see open rehearsals, productions, performances, exhibits, and to benefit from the meetings about the courses of action and cultural policies: at a time when this sector is going through a delicate period, it is important to be there more constantly. Centrale Fies makes available to artists, to a community and to a cultural policy in continuous evolution, a fluid curatorial board composed of curators, sociologists, artists and researchers.
