The exhibition “Homecoming. Recovered artworks of the Thun Collection”, mounted in the Chapel Vantini of Palazzo Thun, focuses on some fine works of art belonging to the collection of Count Matteo Thun (1812-1892), who commissioned them for the palace in Trento and for Vigo di Ton castle. They were acquired by the Autonomous Province of Trento in December 2013, and now they “come back home” in the family chapel, where visitors will 'meet' the members of the Thun family - painted by masters of the Venetian and Lombard avantgarde - and enjoy the echo of superior conversations gifted with cultural interests and political passion.
