The Centro Servizi Culturali S. Chiara and San Marco Theatre of Trento join the demonstration “FACCIAMO LUCE SUL TEATRO!” ("Let's shed light on the theatre!"), organised by U.N.I.T.A. (National Union of Theatre and Audiovisual Performers) addressed to all women and men who manage Italian theatres.

From 19.30 to 21.30 on Monday 22 February, theatres joining the initiative will light up to reiterate the need to bring theatre and live entertainment back into the light.

A year after the first government measure to combat the Coronavirus ordered the immediate closure of theatres in the main regions of northern Italy, the measure was quickly extended to the whole country within a few days. Now, with this initiative, U.N.I.T.A. (National Union of Theatre and Audiovisual Performers) calls on the new Government and all citizens to go back to discussing theatre and live performances. A plan should be drawn up and made public to reopen these sites safely as soon as possible.
