MiniFilarmonica - Sul filo

MiniFilarmonica – Sul Filo consists of three new productions, curated by the Filarmonica, in collaboration with the bookshop La Seggiolina Blu, based on a literary project by Soledad Rivas and under the artistic coordination of Alessandro Arnoldo.

Rodaripedia, a short journey through the works of Gianni Rodari, on the centenary of his birth, is an experience made up of music, texts and illustrations and guided by the narrative voice of Federica Chiusole.

The jazz music by Nik Lee and The Marcos and the sand drawings by Nadia Ischia accompany the reading.

Mentre tutti dormono (While everybody sleeps) - online from 19 January - tells about the fairy-tale world of Astrid Lindgren, one of the world's best-known writers for children, who spent her time defending the rights of children, animals, peace and coexistence, against all forms of abuse.

Federica Chiusole's narrating voice is accompanied by the multi-ethnic music of the Yasemi Trio and Giorgia Pallaoro's illustrations.

Babar the Elephant - online from 27 January - written and drawn in 1931 by Jean de Bruhnoff, who witnessed the stories his wife Cecile used to tell his children at night before going to sleep, is a small Bildungsroman for children, sad but amusing, poetic and full of fantasy.

The story is simple, a metaphor for the search for one's identity and a parable on the meaning of civilisation.

It's interpreted on the piano by Stefano Visintainer and Marco Rinaudo, with narrating voice by Federica Chiusole and sand drawings by Nadia Ischia.

For several years the MiniFilarmonica has been addressing a very young audience, that is children aged 5 - 11, proposing concerts for them, but not in the traditional sense of the term, but rather small shows in which music is presented using the modes of theatre and animation, storytelling and surprise, by drawing in both stage and audience.

As musical organizations around the world shut down regular activity because of the coronavirius pandemic, Trento Philharmonic Society has chosen to invest in the recording of these concerts, which will be available on the VIDEO page (Filarmonica Video ) of the new website.
