"Mon doux pays, où êtes-vous? - My sweet country, where are you? Lost identities from Rouault to the contemporaries"

The exhibition at the Tridentine Diocesan Museum in Trento focuses on Georges Rouault's Miserere

Until 29 February 2016, the exhibition at the Tridentine Diocesan Museum displays for the first time in Trento the famous Miserere by Georges Rouault (Paris, 1871-1958). The series, consisting of 58 prints, was conceived in the years of the First World War, was completed between 1922 and 1927, but published only in 1948. It is considered by critics the most beautiful and significant testimony of the French artist, who is considered the greatest religious painter of the twentieth century.
