Strolling around museums during the Christmas and New Year holiday period

Here are the opening times of the main museums during the holiday season:

Trento

Castello del Buonconsiglio, from 23 December 2014 to 6 January 2015 (included 29 December and 5 January, except for 25 December and 1 January) from 9.30 to 17.

Museo diocesano tridentino, in piazza Duomo, closed at Christmas, 1 and 6 January, and every Tuesday. (opening times: 9.30-12.30 / 14.00-17.30; Sunday: 10.00-13.00 / 14.00-18.00).  

Cappella Vantini (via delle Orne 1) and Torre Vanga (piazza della Portèla 1), opening times: 10-18, closed at Christmas, 1 January, and every Monday.

Torre Mirana (via Belenzani 3), closed at Christmas, 1 January, and every Monday.

Galleria Civica di Trento (please see Mart museum’s opening times)

Muse, from 22 December to 6 January: open every day, 10.00 - 19.00; closed at Christmas and 1 January.

Gallerie di Piedicastello: open from Tuesday to Sunday, 9-18; closed at Christmas and 1 January.

Rovereto

Mart, Casa d’arte futurista Depero and Galleria Civica di Trento: open 26 and 29 December, 5 and 6 January (usual opening times). Extraordinary openings: 25 December and 1 January, from 15 to 20.

Museo di Riva del Garda: 27-30 December / 2-11 January: 10.00-18.00; 31 December 10.00-12.30; closed on 1 January.

Galleria Civica G. Segantini di Arco from Tuesday to Sunday, open from 10 to 18; closed on 24/25/26/31 December and 1 January.
