Stube del Conte at Castel Caldes open to the public
The wonderful Stube del Conte (Count’s cocklestove) at Castel Caldes is open to the public

At Castel Caldes the magnificent Stube del Conte (Count’s cocklestove), a vast room carefully restored and furnished in every detail, is open to the public from the end of July.
Moreover, after about two years of restoration work curated by the museum, with the collaboration of the Department for Cultural Heritage, the Stanza di Olinda (Olinda’s room) has returned to its former glory with the perfect restoration of the plaster, the inlaid fir floor, the wall covering and the completely original wooden ceiling, while the furnishings and the precious masonry heater of the Baroque age come from the collections of the Castello del Buonconsiglio.
