SUMMER EXHIBITIONS
Carlo Benvenuto. The Original
An important exhibition marks the reopening of the Mart and its new season. One of the most important artists of our generation to emerge at the beginning of the new millennium, Carlo Benvenuto  is the author of a refined and disorientating metaphysic perception of everyday life. The exhibition hosts sixty works, interacting with three masterpieces by Giorgio de Chirico, Giorgio Morandi and Renato Guttuso, conserved in the Mart Collections. An extraordinary project on the trail of art as an essential "self-portrait" painted by the artist.
Italo Zannier, innocent photographer
The diaries. Yervant Gianikian and Angela Ricci Lucchi
The image in the 20th century is the protagonist of the two exhibitions extended until August 23, 2020. On one hand, the personal collection, never exhibited before, from the photographic books and photographs of Italo Zannier ; on the other, the solemn story of Yervant Gianikian and Angela Ricci , by whom the Museum has produced the latest film, presented at the Venice Art Biennale.
Focus Collections
The permanent exhibition  periodically expands to include the Focus exhibits, which provide insights into the roots of modern and contemporary Italian art, as well as international historical movements, and new trends. Currently featuring three new projects:
Ardengo Soffici. The meeting between Dante and Beatrice
After Monet. Pictorialism in the Mart Collections
Tribute to Claudia Gian Ferrari
Outdoor Projects
Once again, art invades the Mart’s outdoor spaces, interacting with its iconic contemporary architecture. Between the cupola and fountain, you’ll find Marco Lodola's sculptures  lighting up the night’s sky, while Velasco Vitali’s Monument to resistance   features "a pack of dogs" in the Sculpture Garden – a project that’s also on show at the Mart in Castel Ivano, in collaboration with Arte Sella .

What about green holidays? Have you chosen to ride a bike? Rovereto is right for you!
After visiting the Mart, we suggest riding along the route of the castles, between villages and vineyards with stops in the cellars of Vallagarina to taste local products. Cycle in freedom and safety along the wide cycle paths that flank the Adige river. Discover all our proposals and follow Visit Rovereto
