The Castello del Buonconsiglio Castle open again

from Tuesday 19 January 2021 (from Tuesday to Friday) the museum is open to the public

On Tuesday 19 January from 9.30 to 17.00 the Castello del Buonconsiglio will reopen its doors to the public after the second forced closure that began on 6 November last year.

From Tuesday you can access the museum's rooms and visit the exhibition dedicated to small bronze masterpieces of the 17th century. This exhibition was opened online last December.

Until further notice, the museum will be open from Tuesday to Friday and closed at weekends.

To enter the museum, online bookings must be made on the museum's website and anti-covid rules must be followed.

The following castles will remain temporarily closed: Castel Thun, Castel Beseno, Castel Stenico and Castel Caldes.

Buonconsiglio Castle

The Buonconsiglio Castle is the largest and most important monumental complex of the Trentino Alto Adige region. It was the residence of the prince-bishops of Trento from the 13th century to the end of the 18th century. Castelvecchio is the oldest nucleus; the Magno Palazzo is the 16th century expansion and is one of the most sumptuous Renaissance-style palaces in Italy.
