Tickets online

Trentino’s visitors will finally be able to enjoy the Mart's works, and in particular the new Boldini exhibition, in complete safety.

“Stopping art would mean stopping the growth of our society. The exhibition we are inaugurating can really open the hearts of visitors, even in such a difficult time". These are the words by Provincial Councillor for Culture, Mirko Bisesti.

Vittorio Sgarbi, President of the museum’s Board of Directors, has defined this as a great event and has announced the opening to the public of the Giovanni Boldini exhibition, in the 90th anniversary of his death.

In spring, the exhibition will be remounted in Paris at the Petit Palais.

Furthermore, Sgarbi has announced the arrival of an important work attributed to Caravaggio, the Maddalena in estasi (Mary Magdalen in Ecstasy) from London.

This painting will enrich the exhibition  Caravaggio. Il Contemporaneo , which is extended until 5 April, the date when the Boldini exhibition also closes.

From 18 January - Exhibitions:

As we have happily experienced in recent months, it is possible to visit museums by establishing new habits.

Tickets can be bought online, entrances will be restricted, social distancing guaranteed, and body temperature measured.

In addition to the exhibition dedicated to Caravaggio (Caravaggio. Il contemporaneo), and to the awaited retrospective on Giovanni Boldini, two new outdoor projects  can be visited: Sol Invictus by Luciano and Ivan Zanoni and Twingo Monument by Daniele Nicolosi.

Then, there is the section Focus dedicated to Nicola Samorì, Luciano Ventrone, Guido Iannuzzi and Velasco Vitali.

Open again also the Archivio del ’900  (Archive of the 20th century), the Mart Shop and the Alfio Ghezzi Bistrot.

On Tuesday 19 January the Civic Art Gallery - Galleria Civica di Trento  - will open too, with an exhibition dedicated to architect Leo Salvotti from Trentino.

From Wednesday 20 January the doors will also open at Casa d'Arte Futurista Depero  (Depero Futurist House of the Arts) and Palazzo delle Albere, where an exhibition dedicated to artist Umberto Moggioli from Trento will open.
