The Rose Garden

The rose is the theme chosen this year by the Municipality of Trento - Office for the Management of roads and parks - for the event "Fiori al centro" ("Flowers in the city centre"), which will take place on 25 and 26 May.

As part of this initiative, the Buonconsiglio Castle will host beautiful old garden roses from mid-May, taking inspiration from the famous Cycle of the Months (of the end of the 14th century), which decorates the walls of Torre Aquila. This is symbolically linked with the garden of modern roses which has been cultivated for the occasion at the Parco di San Marco nearby.

To introduce this initiative, four conferences will take place, as detailed below.

Then, over the last weekend of May, visitors can join several interesting activities, workshops, and theme tours.
