With Katia Malatesta

Meetings and conferences

As part of the exhibition "The invention of the culprit. The 'case' of Simonino, from propaganda to history   ", the Tridentine diocesan museum of Trento proposes a special event dedicated to the Holocaust Remembrance Day in collaboration with Trentino's Forum for peace and human rights.

On the occasion of this anniversary, the reflection on anti-Semitism and the construction of the enemy proposed in the exhibition is extended to the role of the new media in Nazi propaganda, in a journey through the darkest pages of the history of totalitarian cinema. On the other hand, in the recurrence celebrated to remember the victims of Nazism, the event will explore the contribution of the seventh art to the delicate task of remembering the Shoah victims, with reference to the trends and stages of the "Holocaust cinema".

The event is the first in a series of meetings dedicated to the topics of the exhibition "The invention of the culprit. The 'case' of Simonino, from propaganda to history", that can be visited until 13 April 2020.
