SATURDAY 4 JUNE
10.00 NATURAL MOVEMENTS
Controra Company– teacher Natascia Belsito
To start the day, in the name of well-being, Controra Company proposes an experience of GYROKINESIS ®, the movement system devised by Juliu Horvath, which brings together the principles of Yoga, Dance, Tai Chi and Swimming.
We advise all participants to wear comfortable clothing and to take a mat with them.
11.30 Il “vago e ameno giardino” del Magno Palazzo (The 'vague and pleasant garden' of the Magno Palazzo')
Guided tour of the gardens of the Magno Palazzo organised by the Museum Educational Services (for adults)
A place dedicated to the rest and recreation of the prince and his guests, the Italian-style garden created by Bernardo Cles lives again through the words of botanist and court physician Pietro Andrea Mattioli. An exceptional guide to the discovery of this historical-natural heritage.
LUNCH IN THE GARDEN
Take a blanket and a picnic basket with you, or choose some delicacies from the Buonconsiglio Bar and Café (two menus, each €12)
15.00 What shall I plant in my garden?
activity for families organised by the Museum’s office for educational activities (children aged 5-12)
The creation of the gardens of the Magno Palazzo, taken care of down to the smallest detail by Prince-Bishop Bernardo Cles, is transformed into a collective story thanks to the kamishibai technique. After listening to the words of the prince and his trusty 'gardener', children can choose a plant to immortalise and add to their ideal garden.
17.00 L’uomo che piantava gli alberi (The man who planted trees)
Controra Company– director and performer Andrea Deanesi
The reading of the short story The Man Who Planted Trees by Jean Giono (1953), accompanied by careful sound processing in Soundscope composition, concludes the day with a fascinating and evocative performance.
