Zeni mill - Brentonico

The Zeni mill is one of the few still in full working order. Going back to 1806, it was used for some time mainly for grinding feed for local poultry.

Of over a thousand historic mills in Trentino, used for grinding cereals and winnowing barley, the Zeni mill is one of the few still in full working order. Going back to 1806, it was used for some time mainly for grinding feed for local poultry. Recently restored, it is now used for educational and demonstration purposes. It features a large cassette wheel and a smaller iron one, and milling facilities with French emery wheels and devices for sifting the flour.
