The school museum - Pergine Valsugana

The Museum preserves a large amount of valuable material from schools in Pergine and its surroundings, but also from the rest of Trentino.

Founded in 1997 thanks to the work of a group of teachers of Don Milani Elementary School, the Museum preserves a large amount of valuable material from schools in Pergine and its surroundings, but also from the rest of Trentino. Within the Marie Curie Institute ABCs, abacuses, exercise books, posters, maps and teaching aids such as weights and measures, tree samples, the model of a water-driven machine are exhibited. Then there is the section of historical photographs and school reports, and a complete reconstruction of the teaching room with blackboard, chair, cupboards and desks with notebooks, pens, ink, folders and readers. The amount of material owned allows for the presentation of thematic exhibitions. Visiting school groups leafing through school books and exercise books can experience the school as it was.
