Auditorium of the Conservatory of Riva del Garda
Moderno auditorium, inaugurato nel 1987, ospita concerti, incontri e rassegne cinematografiche.
Il Conservatorio di Riva del Garda è nato nel 1970, grazie alla volontà dell’Amministrazione comunale e alla consolidata esistenza di una Scuola Musicale Civica fondata nel 1956. Inizialmente istituito come sezione staccata del Conservatorio “C. Monteverdi” di Bolzano, nel 1975 è passato alle dipendenze del Conservatorio “G.Verdi” di Milano, per divenire infine, nel 1980, sezione staccata del Conservatorio “F.A. Bonporti” di Trento. L’istituto ha sede in un bell’edificio, presso la seicentesca Chiesa dell’Inviolata, ed è pure dotato di un moderno Auditorium, inaugurato nel 1987. Comprende inoltre una Scuola media annessa, e nei suoi oltre trent’anni di attività ha gradualmente ampliato il numero dei Corsi principali e complementari, accogliendo allievi provenienti anche dalle altre province che si affacciano sul Garda. La presenza del Conservatorio ha infine favorito la nascita di varie importanti manifestazioni musicali nazionali e internazionali, come il Festival Musica Riva.
Notes on the accessibility to the site
The first barrier-free entrance includes the door indicated above, which can be reached crossing a slightly sloping path paved with stone slabs and cobbles. The second option is the access from the internal car park, in Viale dei Martiri, with two consecutive ramps, respectively 612 and 740 cm long (max. slope: 5%). Only the Conservatory’s main entrance (3 steps with a height of 13 cm each) remains open during the performances. The Auditorium is on the 1st floor and aisles are wheelchair accessible: wheelchair spaces are provided in the lateral aisles of the stalls and of the Dress Circle (2nd floor). The stage can be reached via 6 steps (riser: 13 cm). The indicated wheelchair accessible toilets are on the ground floor (with grab bar on the side of the wc opposite to the one approached). Other toilets with the same features can be found on the 1st floor.
