Event for families and children on Saturday 15 May

"Kid Pass Days" is the event dedicated to families, designed to discover the cultural, historical, artistic and scientific heritage of Italy. 

Also the Spazio Archeologico Sotterraneo del Sas (Sas Underground Archaeological Space) in Trento, the Museo Retico (Rhaetic Museum) of Sanzeno and the Museo delle Palafitte di Fiavé (Fiavè Pile Dwelling Museum) join the event taking place on Saturday 15 May.

The museums, managed by the Archaeological Heritage Office of the Department for Cultural Heritage of the Autonomous Province of Trento, offer activities and workshops to get to know many unusual and fun facts of our past, together with the archaeologists of the Educational Services.

The activities, which must be booked in advance, are aimed at small groups of maximum 9 participants and are carried out in compliance with the regulations in force for the containment of the Covid-19 virus. Visitors are invited to respect social distancing and wear a face covering.

TRIDENTVM S.A.S.S. - Spazio Archeologico Sotterraneo del Sas in Trento (Sas Underground Archaeological Space) proposes A spasso per Tridentum ("A walk through Tridentum") to discover, while having fun, the ancient Roman city underneath the historic centre of Trento (in piazza Cesare Battisti). Activities start at 10.30, 11.30, 15.00 and 16.00 and are free of charge. Booking required by phone: 0461 230171 (by 17.30 on Friday 14 May); maximum 9 participants. Admission to the site: full price ticket € 2.50; reduced price ticket € 1.50; free for children under 14.

The Museo Retico of Sanzeno (the Rhaetic Museum – Centre for the archaeology and ancient history of Val di Non) proposes Dove sono gli animali?” ("Where are the animals?"), an adventurous journey in search of fantastic animals. After a short presentation of the museum, families are invited to step in the well of time to search for clues that will lead them to discover the animals hidden in the rooms and among the exhibits. The activity starts at 14.30, 15.30 and 16.30 and is free of charge. The Museo delle Palafitte di Fiavé (Fiavè Pile Dwelling Museum) proposes “Indovina chi c’è al villaggio” ("Guess who's in the village"): through an exciting story and an engaging game, participants will learn about the habits, activities and curiosities of the inhabitants of the ancient 3,500-year-old pile-dwelling village. The activity starts at 14.00, 15.00, 16.00 and 17.00 and is free of charge.
