ArcheoCinema in a pile dwelling

The Pile Dwelling Museum in Fiavé is getting ready to host a new initiative, dedicated to archaeological cinema. The “ArcheoCinema in palafitta | ArcheoCinema in a pile dwelling" includes four events, on 16, 25 and 30 May and 6 June, proposed by the Archaeological Heritage Office of the UMSt Soprintendenza per i beni e le attività culturali della Provincia autonoma di Trento (Strategic Mission Unit of the Department for Cultural Heritage and Activities), for the protection and promotion of cultural heritage and activities, in collaboration with the RAM film festival (Rovereto Archeologia Memorie | Rovereto Archaeology and Memories) and the Municipality of Fiavé.

The documentaries belong to the archives of the Rovereto festival, which has curated the Italian editions of the foreign works. The main theme of the festival is the archaeological heritage, its protection, conservation and enhancement, with a special focus on pile dwellings in antiquity and life in lake environments during the Bronze Age. The meetings will be introduced by experts from the Archaeological Heritage Office. Participation is free of charge.
