Villa de Mersi
Dopo un lungo restauro Villa de Mersi è tornata ad essere di recente una delle più belle ville del Trentino, questo grazie ad uno splendido giardino.
Un tempo isolata e circondata da un elegante parco adorno di statue, ora circondata dalla cerchia edilizia della borgata di Villazzano, Villa de Mersi trova origine già nel Medioevo. I successivi rimaneggiamenti in epoca rinascimentale la vedono arricchirsi della tipica torretta, a coronamento delle alture di proprietà nobiliari e borghesi. Dopo un lungo restauro Villa de Mersi è tornata ad essere di recente una delle più belle ville del Trentino, questo grazie ad uno splendido giardino. Gli spazi verdi, giardino, corte, frutteto appartenenti al complesso di Villa de Mersi costituiscono infatti un arredo naturale di grande pregio.
Notes on the accessibility to the site
The indicated lift is preceded by a 55 cm long ramp with a slope of 13%, and gives access to the hall on the ground floor (space for refreshment breaks and catering), the garden and other toilets. The ground floor can be accessed also from the park, following two cobblestone ramps (length: 5 and 7 m; slope: 15% and 13%), climbing one 7 cm high step, and entering a 90 cm wide door. The halls intended for events and performances are on the 1st floor: the access is from the outside, via a cobblestone ramp (length: 9 m; slope: 20%). Wheelchair users can cross all the gravelled and cobbled garden (average slope: 7%). The indicated wheelchair accessible toilets are fitted with wc with hand shower and grab bar on the side opposite to the one approached.
