Summer Archaeology 2024

Summer with archaeology: walking through time to discover Trentino's oldest history

Workshops for children and adults, demonstration archaeology, participatory guided tours, theater performances, archaeotrekking, exhibitions, readings, music, cinema, and walks with experts: from June to September, the Archeology Summer Festival returns with many proposals, designed and curated by the “Servizi educativi” (office for educational activities) of the Archaeological Heritage Office of the Department for Cultural Heritage, to discover the oldest history of Trentino while having fun.

The initiatives, aimed at audiences of all ages, from young children to grandparents, are hosted in the following venues:  

Museo Retico (Rhaetic Museum) - Centre for the archaeology and ancient history of the Val di Non,  Museo delle Palafitte di Fiavé (Fiavé Pile dwelling Museum), Parco Archeo Natura di Fiavé (Archaeological Park "Archeo Natura" of Fiavé), Spazio Archeologico Sotterraneo del Sas (TRIDENTVM S.A.S.S. - Spazio Archeologico Sotterraneo del Sas / Sas Underground Archaeological Space), Villa di Orfeo (Roman Villa of Orpheus ), area archeologica Acqua Fredda (Redebus Pass. "Acqua fredda" archaeological site ), Montesei di Serso a Pergine Valsugana , Monte San Martino ai Campi - Riva del Garda.
